MILL VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL
Begun in 2022 the Mill Valley Music Festival is a medium-scale (6,000 per day) live music festival hosted by the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce and produced by Whtlbl. Whtlbl handles all aspects of this event from Talent Buying, Production, Marketing, Sponsorship, Bookkeeping and more. The first event was a sold out, critically acclaimed success (Ben Harper headlined) and the event will expand from one to two days in 2023.
A free outdoor movie series, produced by Whtlbl and hosted by the SF Parks Alliance. This celebrated local series features family favorite films in a different park each week such as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Indiana Jones. Whtlbl handles event production (including bar sales & management), staffing, marketing, and sponsorship for this one of its kind Bay Area series.
This partnership with San Francisco Parks Alliance features a unique lineup of contemporary artists to perform at the historic Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in San Francisco’s McLaren Park. 2022 Artists included Thao, Ozomatli and Deafheaven. WHTLBL is responsible for talent buying, marketing, production, sponsorship, bookkeeping and more.
SXSW 2022 marked the very first Song Exploder Stage at SXSW, and featured live sets from some of today’s most innovative and creative artists, including Perfume Genius, Kimbra, Fly Anakin, Sarah Kinsley, and Jenny Owen Youngs. Hrishikesh Hirway – host and creator of the acclaimed podcast part of Radiotopia from PRX and Netflix original series Song Exploder also conversed with each artist about the story behind one of the songs in their sets. WHTLBL handled all booking, production with SXSW and budget oversight.
